Types of malware:-
1. Virus:- A computer virus attaches itself to a genuine files or program.when the infected file is opened ,the virus activities and starts spreading to other files.

- Requires user action to spread.

2 Worm:- A worm is a self-replicating malware that spreads automatically through networks without human activities.
Key points:
- Does not need a host program.
- Spreads very fast over the internet.
- Consume bandwidth and system resources.
- worm is also malicious program like a virus.
3. Trojan horse:- A trojan look like a useful and harmless programs ,but once installed,it performs malicious actions in the background.

- Disguised as genuine software.
- Creates a backdoor for hackers.
- Can steal data or control the system.
4. Spyware:- Spyware secretly monitors user activities and collects sensitive information without consent.
