Register memory :-
Register memory is the smallest and fastest memory in a computer.It is not a part of the main memory and is located in the CPU in the form of registers,which are the smallest data holding elements.A register temporarily holds frequently used data, instructions and memory address that are to be used by CPU.They hold instruction that are currently processed by the CPU.
All data is required to pass through register before it can be processed,they are used by CPU to process the data entered by the users.
Register Memory:-
Register memory is a small high speed memory inside in CPU.
It is used to store data and instructions temporarily.
Data is stored in registers form main memory for execution.
CPU contain a number of registers.Each register has a pre define function.
Register size determines how much information it can store.
Virtual memory is a storage scheme that provides user an illusion of having a very big main memory.This is done by treating a part of secondary memory as the main memory.
In this scheme,User can load the bigger size processes than the available main memory by having the illusion that the memory is available to load the process.
Boot refers to starting up a computer.when you switch on the computer,the commands in the ROM are executed automatically to load the boot program into memory and execute its instructions.The BIOS program has a basic set of commands that enables the computer to perform the basic input/output instructions to start the computer.
This system software controls hardware devices connected to a computer.It enables the computer to use the hardware by providing an appropriate interface.The kernel of a computer's CPU communicates with different hardware through this software. Operating systems generally come with most of the device available windows not know every G card,not know windows how to perform how to work it, windows not make additional software.
Slow computer performance:- The machine may work slowly,e g.,it will take more time to open or shutdown the computer or while opening a file, document, computer application,etc.The operating system and internet speed may get slow.
Frequent pop-ups:- A virus may cause unusual frequent pop-ups on your window.
Hard drive issue:- The hard drive may exhibit unusual high activity even when it is not in use.It may cause unwanted changes to your hard drive and may freeze or crash this device.
Frequent crashes:- One may experience frequent sudden system crashes while playing games. Watching videos,or doing some other work using the infected system.A blue screen appears when it crashes.
Unknown programs:- Unwanted program may open or start automatically when you start your computer.You can see these programs in your computer's list of active applications. Sometimes,the window shutdown unexpectedly without any reason.
Unusual activities:- Your machine may perform differently,such as you may not be able to log into files,and blue screen of death (BSOD) may appear frequently,and more.
Furthermore,the hardware, software,or OS may start main functioning leading to crashing the system abruptly.
Computer Virus:-
Computer viruses are unwanted software programs or pieces of code that interfere with the functioning of the computer.They spread through contaminated files,data,and insecure networks.Once,it enters your system,it can replicate from one program to another program and from one infeeted computer to another computer.So,we can say,that it is a self-replicating computer program that interferes with the functioning of the computer by infecting files, data, program,etc.

- A computer virus is a type of harmful program,that spreads between computers and damage data and software.
- When virus runs,it makes copies of itself and adds it's code to other programs and files on your computer.
- These viruses come in different types and each type can affect your device differently.
Boot sector virus :- These viruses infect the boot record or master boot records.
The virus infects it's code into a hard disk's partition table,then moves into the main memory when a computer restarts.
Resident virus :- A virus which save itself in the memory of computer and then infects other files and programs when it's originating program is not longer working.
Macro virus :- Can be found in spreadsheet files:
Mainly the source of such viruses is via emails.
File infector virus :- As the name suggests,it first infects a single file and then laster spread itself to other executable files and programs.
The main source of this virus are games and work processer.
Overwrite virus :- overwrite virus are extremely dangerous.
They can delete data and replace it with their own file content or code.
Once the files get infected ,they cannot be replaced ,and the virus can affect windows,Dos,etc.
Spacefiller virus :- It is a rare type of virus which fills in the empty spaces of a file with viruses.
- It is known as cavity virus.
- It will neither affect the size of the file not can be detected easily.
